EvE add bots to matchmaking (and CCP said each have a different AI) if it takes too long to find a game so you can always play.Most importantly, Arena is a true 6DoF and it might initially sound like a better option because it's more realistic than arcady (you have to move forward at all times, and no strafing) style of EvE, but space combat isn't competitive, it all comes down to turreting in space (think Asteroids arcade game), and is highly predictable (there is only ever one optimal choice) and it get's boring pretty fast.Because of EvE limitations dogfighting feels more intense and tactics matter, beside it is easier for your stomach if you have problems with nausea.Imho I would base my purchase on ONE criteria, AVAILABLE TIME, If you have hours of free time buy Elite Dangerous, If you want a quick and fun shooter with space theme buy EvE Valkyrie.
